Description

Sandstone tile. In relief, a figure of a worshipper, an attendant, a hero or a god himself; could also be a local hero, saint or warrior. Faces front, hands in worshipful attitude. Red powder marks of worship (used instead of flowers). Used perhaps in a niche or a wayside shrine. Possibly one of a series. From above knees of figure, lower part of tile is missing and otherwise damaged.
