Description

Complete. Terracotta. Probably made from a mold. Round, flat base. Smooth tapering sides. Two handles are triangular projections marked with degenerate volutes found on either side. A concave disc center with burnishing marks. Tiny hole punched in center. Rim has raised ridge inside, all concentric circles on outside, stamped. A nozzle-like triangular projection with degenerate volutes has tiny punched hole near rim of projection. Lamp hollow but closed. Has finished appearance but wick and filling hole never drilled. Fine orangish clay. All over smeary red glaze.
