Description | Original found at Pompeii. This jug has a female panther as a handle, forepaws resting on the back of the lip. Beading and egg-pattern in relief around lip. On each side of wall a luxuriant, horizontal spray of leaves in relief from handle to front. At front is adouble vertical palmette. Bottom flat. |
