Description | Female figure, hands on thighs, on base. Mouth open, cowrie shell eyes. Row of projections down forehead. Flat round discs carved at ankles, knees, wrists, elbows and shoulders. Punctate rings around upper arms. Eight vertebrae carved down back. Fiber tied around ankles, wrists, neck. Black, with red and white. Deep crack in base, at front, between feet. Another deep crack up right front side of figure: through thigh, up torso, and into shoulders. |
