Sommerville: Onyx. Nerva, 12th emperor of Rome, A.D. 96-98. Fine cameo. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case E. Vermeule: Onyx. Cameo (unmounted) Bust of the Emperor Nerva to right. The identification as the features of the 12th Emperor (A.D. 96-98) was made by Sommerville.
