Cross-shaped iron tsuba, with "kozuka" and trefoil "kogai" holes, both plugged with cross-hatched metal, kogai plug partially missing. Center wedge-shaped hole augmented and hammered for better fit. Top and bottom arms of cross cut out; Side arms solid with etched with curvilinear and leaf designs; filled in with gold.
