Point or arrowhead (石鏃). Leaf shaped point with stem. Reworked on both sides. Reddish brown opaque stone. 13175 is one of many stemmed points in the collection. Stemmed points or arrowheads appear in sites from the Late Paleolithic to Yayoi Period. Without context arrowheads such as these can only be assigned a broad date range. This example is particularly finely retouched.
