Description | Miniature conical oinochoe. Flat bottom. Body conical (slightly convex) in profile. Cylindrical neck. Trefoil lip. Strap handle, vertical, attached on upper body and back of lip. Bottom unglazed. On body, from level of handle attachment to bottom, multiple closely spaced, fine wheel-run lines; above, radiating from base of neck, points down: 7 rays. On neck, two framed panels each containing a row of vertical squiggles, 8 in lower, 6 in upper. On back of handle, 5 broad horizontal strokes of glaze. Exterior of lip glazed. Fine buff clay. Intact. |
