Cf. 42-30-554, Bapote knife. The contours of the blade are not so pronounced (perhaps worn down): the "stem" is much larger with a dome-shape. Band of basketry around "stem" at junction with wooden grip, with slight wrapping of heavy copper wire and wide copper strip. The end of the grip padded and covered with skin which has been sewed to shape to form a ball 18 cm. long and 9 cm. in diameter. Shallow groove the length of each face of blade; arc of notched double groove and a triangle of parallel lines on opposite sides of the two faces of blade; parallel straight lines and notches on "stem."
