Description

Red polished III jar. Fine soft orange clay. Thick matt dark red slip, flaking. Round base, globular body, conical neck, slightly flaring rim; two opposed small vertical handles at neckline. Incised decoration: horizontal hatched band on upper body and mid-neck, wavy line at neckline; two vertical hatched bands on upper body below either handle.
