Description | Sommerville: Sard. The Bonus Eventus, patron of agriculture. Rude but antique and interesting. Gold Rings - Intaglios, Case EEE. Vermeule: Sard. Intaglio. Bonus Eventus standing to left, holding ears of corn in left hand, a sacrificial dish in outstretched right. Cursory Roman work showing strong evidences of cutting with the wheel. Probably dated in II or III century A.D. Graeco-Roman. |
