Description

Bow made of bamboo (ไม้ไผ่ป้าน) and rope(บอป่าน), with pellet holder of bamboo and rattan. These pellet bows went out of use 50 years ago. This example was made by an old man Mr. nā būalī (นาย บัวลี) who used them in his youth. Used to shoot rabbits and birds, control cows and water buffalo, robbers. Owner says it can break teeth. Handle is Mai Paak or Mai Phaak, a type of wood.
