Description

Woman's belt. Red cotton with narrow, blue, warp stripes. Four stripes brocaded at each end in yellow, orange, light blue, dark blue and purple. Feathered and geometric designs, fringed.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 60 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and blue cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Woven on a backstrap loom."
