Description | Fixed stone head construction. Stone is oval shaped with pointed ends; attached to wooden shaft by rawhide band covered with yellow, black and white beads. Shaft covered with muslin overlaid with beadwork in bands of white, black and yellow with large band of salt and pepper beadwork in the middle. Dyed horsehair attached at handle end. Condition: Stone head loose with wire wrapped around it to hold it in place. Beadwork loose with some bead loss. |
