Description

Red cotton ground. Cotton, silk and wool weft brocade. Long fringe borders.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 52 epi, single, Z twist, white cotton. Two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Six ply, red cotton. Weft: 13 ppi, six ply, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Woven on a backstrap loom."
