Description

Rim-sherd from a straight-sided cup. Fine, pink (5YR 7/4) clay with a paler surface, with decoration in red to brown paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Interior painted. Floral motif between groups of crescents. See 572 for this decoration on a semiglobular cup. Bibliography: Silverman 1978a: 119, no. 289, and pl. 12e, no. 1.
