Description | Circular container consisting of straight sided walls of wood decorated with hide, silk and vegetable fiber stitches. Drawstring top of hide. Base of hide and birchbark. Entire surface decorated with bands of dyed and painted hide, silk and vegetable fiber in red, black and white, hide tassels along top of sides. Drawstring top decorated with geometric designs in blue and red. |
