Description
Lime gourd bag from Santa Cruz. See Force and Force, 277230, p. 258. (Also girdles on pp. 255, 256) Civic Center exhibition tag attributes it to New Caledonia and dates it to Ca. 1900, so probably from Paris Exposition of 1900. Exhibited at l'Exposition universelle de Paris 1900.
