Description | Complete. Very worn lower body. Handmade shallow bowl. Flat base. Walls obliquely up to thickened rim; erect on interior, convex on exterior. Unterior walls curved gently. Thin slip on exterior to just below top of rim. Very heavy fabric, medium clay with mica, small pebbles, and bits. Fired orange-red at core, red buff on exterior, creamy where slipped. |
