Description
Lid for feather box 29-92-15A. Oval. Fairly deep. High relief human figures both ends. Rest of surface covered with overall rauponga carving (rows of dog-tooth notches surrounded by parallel grooves and ridges) in large spirals. Inside the numeral 25 [Gordon number]. Three pairs of small holes, one near one end, two near the other.
