Description | Squatting human figure on base of 5in. depth. Features of face grotesque. Legs Flexed close to body, no feet. Deep circular depression between legs at base of body. One arm extended forward at an angle, fingers broken off. (but hand curve indicates that apparently was grasping something); other arm flexed verticallly with palm outward. Flexed arm broken below wrist and nailed on. Extended arm nailed on near shoulder and seems to be a replacement. Red and black areas on face. Traces of black on body. Adze marks visable over most of surface. |
