Description | Ring foot. Broad shoulder. Broad strap handle attached at shoulder at base of lip. Lip trumpet shaped. Metallic black glaze on inside of lip and on entire exterior, though splotchily applied on resting surface and underside. Vertical, parallel grooves beneath glaze on body from base of neck to lower wall. A similarly formed X on body below handle. Pale buff clay. Intact except for chip of foot. |
