Made of the distal end of a human (?) femur. Distal end covered with closely netted fiber "cap" to which is attached an ornament of grey and red seeds and black tubes with tufts of cassowary feathers at the ends (similar to ornament on 58-17-24B, except ends of feathers are cut blunt. Braided strip of peel around base of "cap." Lower half of shaft on posterior side is carved with geometric designs.
