Description
Intaglio. Carnelian. Venus (Aphrodite) kneeling next to a vessel and placing a garmet over her head. Perfume flask appears beside her. Signature on edge SANTARELLI (Giovanni Antonio Santarelli).
Vermeule: Carnelian. Aphrodite crouching to left pulling drapery over her body. Small water jug and perfume flask appears at ground to left.
