Description | Square shaped wooden pigment box with lid; both slanted rim and sides of the body of box are ornamentally incised with a series of zigzag lines and small groupings of triangles; protruding, conical shape knob from center of lid; 7 parallel lines encircle knob, forming four rounded corner triangles, centers are incised with cross hatch pattern (Pattern in corners of lid is of Mosala Baba); directly above knob is a hole, there is a second hole below on the base of box; six strands of twisted fiber attach the lid to box; object is dark brown in color. |
