A necklace with a pendant (phul) which depicts a female deity, most likely Durga. The necklace is made of a orange-yellow dyed cotton which is broken into sections by black and brown tightly colied threads. Amulets like the one on the end of the necklace are also known by many names including madaliya and patri.
