Description

One of a pair of dancer's knee cap leggings made from a chilkat blanket fragment. The blanket piece is made from finger woven, wool-wrapped, cedar bark fiber warps and wool wefts in yellow, black, white, and teal colors. The upper end has a heart-shaped flap that would cover the knee. The edges of the blanket piece are hemmed with dark green cloth. Two dark blue, cloth panels are attached at the sides and cords attached to the back of the legging secure it to the wearer's leg.
