Description
Flat piece of wood carved to leave a pattern in high relief. The block is inked and pressed onto the skin as a guide for the tattooing. Design appears to be a double aso (dog) motif: heads with eyes at the sides, sinuous bodies curving towards the center, which is occupied by a flower or rosette. Probably for a man's forearm or thigh.
