Description | Carved spoon made from two pieces of horn. The bowl is slightly concave and transitions from a lighter color toward the front of the spoon to a darker color toward the handle. The handle is riveted to the bowl using four copper rivets. A figure is carved where the handle attaches to the bowl. The figure has large eyes, a closed mouth with thick lips, and a thin, pointed nose that curves down into the mouth. |
