Description | Bowl. Guandong ware? A few small chips and cracks along the rim. Cream-colored glaze covers most of the bowl. Raised foot unglazed as well as a ring in the center of the bowl. On the interior and exterior multiple holes in the glazing due to air bubbles during firing. Face-like design painted in underglaze black/brown at center of bowl. On the exterior are three stamped ovals with a sun-like motif in underglaze blue. |
