Vermeule: Carnelian. Intaglio. (Modern Gold Ring Setting) The Ephesian Artemis facing, flanked by two stylized stags. At left and right in the field a star and a crescent. Graeco-Roman. The representation similar to that encountered on coins of Asia-Minor in the IInd A.D.
