Description

Woven bamboo (ไม้ไผ่บาน) rattan (หวาย) basket with a woven lid. The lid has a rim that encircles the hole it has in the middle. This hole has another lid attached to it from the inside. The entire basket has two sections of bamboo tied to either side of it. The basket is tied to the waist in water and allowed to float off. It is used to put caught fish in.
