Description
Lavong. Rattan. Round cap of basket-weave multi strand rattan peel. Coiled peak, with center projection, of dark plant fiber (vine?). Light colored streamers of palm leaf (?) hanging from top and interlaced around bottom. Twisted chin cord. "[War-cap] of rattan and split bamboo." (Furness, The Home-Life of Borneo Head-Hunters, following p. 92)
