Description | Long oval baobab pod with no stem. Rattles when shifted. The dark outer skin has been scratched to produce designs by revealing the lighter colored woody layer below. Five lateral bands of decoration: four of closely spaced parallel lines, one (at end opposite stem end) cross-hatched, forming pattern of small diamonds. Number 22657 written on it. Dark brown powder leaking from small hole near stem end. |
