Description

"Ganuga." Rectangular of cane or straw wrapped in fine white leather thong. Five bone splinters, probably from turkey leg bones, extend through both long legs of the rectangle, so the points protrude on the outside. Note in Speck's handwriting on tag accompanying object: "Bone scratcher to strengthen and purify ballplayers and warriors."
