Film Description Little more than a decade ago, the Web was largely a "read-only" medium. It was in this media environment that a group of researchers set out to convince members of the general public to contribute their images, videos, and reflections to an online archive in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. In this talk, Dr. Tom Scheinfeldt, Associate Professor of Digital Media and Design and Director of Digital Humanities in the Digital Media Center at the University of Connecticut, recounts his experiences as a member of the team who helped build the Archive. Presented by the Penn Cultural Heritage Center.
