What do you value most? By thinking creatively and planning ahead, you can make prudent financial decisions, create a lasting legacy that perpetuates your values, and ensure that the Penn Museum remains a vibrant place for generations to come.
At the Penn Museum, we believe in the power of our collections to transform the way we see the past, and understand the world and our place in it.
We are committed to education and research—from schoolchild to scholar—that explores the stories and diversity of the human experience, and to preserving the irreplaceable collections in our care that make these explorations possible.
Your tax-deductible contribution to the Annual Fund helps provide comprehensive programmatic support, letting us serve our neighbors in Philadelphia, visitors and scholars from around the world who seek out our collections, and students who will be the researchers and teachers of the future.
Please, help provide a bright future for our past, and give today.

Leave Your Legacy
Planned gifts can provide an excellent way for donors to create a lasting legacy of support at the Penn Museum in their areas of passionate interest. The Penn Museum, working in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania’s Office of Gift Planning, can tailor bequests and structure gifts of stock, real estate, life insurance, or retirement plans to maximize tax savings for each donor while providing meaningful support for the Museum.
If you would like to explore making a planned gift to support the Penn Museum, or have already included in the Museum in your estate plan but haven't yet notified us, we look forward to hearing from you.
Volunteer your Time
Penn Museum is fortunate to have more than 200 active volunteers engaged in a myriad of activities from docent tours and conservation work to database entry, assistance at special events, and fundraising. Some activities require training; most require little more than a passion for our mission to transform understanding of the human experience and an ability to make a commitment of regular time.
