Women plasterers. Hall writes: "The smoothed mud walls are often
washed with a thin mixture of finely macerated white or yellowish
or brown clay in water. The dark brown wash is applied to the lower
part of the wall. The plastering and finishing is women's work. The
floor is of mud beaten hard."
