Gracie graduated with a master’s degree in anthropology from Penn in 2020. Her undergraduate degree is from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated as a Bloomberg Scholar in 2016 with majors in anthropology and the history of art, and a minor in museums and society. Her research focuses on religious heritage in the occupied territories of the Republic of Georgia. She previously worked at the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative, where she contributed to the exhibits “Death of History” and “Ancient History/Modern Destruction.”
