Description | Side A: standing naked youth and standing fully dressed woman facing each other. Youth, left foot forward, holds phiale in left hand, long branch in other. A piece of drapery is suspended over left forearm and is carried back behind back. Woman holds fillet (?) in extended right hand. Left arm seems to be held akimbo against left side. Two plants between youth and woman. Side B: Naked youth seated on garment on rock(?), facing left, holding ring-like object (wreath?) in extended right hand. His left arm is extended in back as if along the top of something. A plant behind him. Probably recomposed from several fragments. Probably also to some extent repainted. |
