Description

White painted jug; Complete; some calcareous incrustation; slip and paint badly worn. Ring base; depressed ovoid with greatest diameter at low shoulder; tall, narrow, nearly straight neck flaring near rim; tightly pinched rounded rim; vertical handle from rim to shoulder. Traces of paint visible near base; 3 or 4 sets of concentric circles on belly; 3 bands encircling shoulder; band encircling base of neck; 2 wavy bands encirckling upper neck; band encircling interior and exterior of rim; traces of paint on handle.
