Description | Intricate silversmithing of floral and figures in high relief. Prince Rama and the demon king Ravana from the Ramayana epic in combat on one side. Prince Sudanu and Zawgyi (alchemist) from Manora play. Floral band at base of box with relief of parrots in the foliage. The lid also has a floral band with parrots. Face of lid has a figure of a man with hands crossed over his head. |
