Description

Votive hand towel (Hônô tenugui). Rust background with lettering. White bat in center. Japanese characters say Tsukiji, Tokyo- (address); Sonohachi ichikawa, Kosaku ichikawa, Tazu ichikawa (names). Label reads: "Hase Kwannon temple. Prof. Sommerville contributed money to the poor fund so the priest gave them."
