Description | Nearly complete. Part of rim and one handle missing. Base slightly concave. Clay: buff to pinkish buff; wet-smoothed; hard. Paint: lustrous red-brown to mahogany color, crackled. Neck, base and handles painted solid. 2 narrow lines below neck and above base; 3 at widest part of belly. In handle-zone 7 rather crudely executed (simple line) running spirals like _MP_, 357, Fig. 60:52 (IIIA:1-B) varying in size. |
