Description | Bronze. Overlapping. Solid cast. The surface was once covered with a smooth patina which can be easily flaked off from the underlying bronze. In one place, between the overlapping parts, this patina escaped the cleaner and reveals transverse rows of finely incised herring-bone ornament. Faint traces of this pattern wehre the patina is gone imply that the bracelet was so ornamented. Ends knobbed. |
