Description | Lower portion of a stela. Broken top retains the lower portions of a standing male at the right, facing left. In front of him is a ring stand, offering table, and second ring stand. At the left are the feet of a seated individual. Below the decorated register are three horizontal lines of incised hieroglyphs, read from right to left. The text is an offering formula naming Osiris, Khentiamentiu, The Great God, Lord of Abydos... The owner of the stela bears the title "Skipper of Amun," but his name is broken. The final line contains two further names. |
