Description | Rubbing on white paper of stone monument honoring Ernest F. Fenollosa. The original, erected on September 21st, 1920, is on the grounds of the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. Two pieces of paper joined together. Below bust is name written Ernest F. Fenollosa. Bottom portion is an inscription in Japanese which was composed by Inoue Tetsujiro (井上哲次郎), with calligraphy by Omura Seigai (大村西崖), and engraving done by Hiro Gunkaku (廣羣鶴). |
