Description | Oval food dish. Boat-shaped: bottom flat; sides curved and flaring; ends slightly concave, slanting outward and rising to high curve at rim. Narrow, parallel grooves fluting inside of ends; cross grooves and four groups of four brass-headed nails (one lost) decorate rim. Three encircling grooves outside just below rim. One end cracked. |
