Description

One Huipil Panel or half huipil. Cream cotton ground brocaded in red, yellow and green cotton and purple silk in vertical zigzags and horizontal V's.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 32 epi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp is predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom."
