Description | Tomb 3A = Herscher Tomb 803A. Black slip II amphora. Hard yellow-brown to light red clay with small inclusions. Thin worn streaked slip, mottled black, red, and brown. Peg base, piriform body, cylindrical neck, slightly flaring rim; two opposed vertical handles, rectangular in section, from mid-neck to upper body.
